Kamnik has excellent train and bus connections with nearby towns and villages. There are approximately 60 daily bus connections to Ljubljana and 18 train connections.

Arrival by Car
The fastest route from the western or northern part of Ljubljana to Kamnik is via the Gorenjska motorway (A2). Leave the motorway at the Vodice exit and then follow the signs towards Kamnik along the regional road (approximately 25 km, 30 minutes’ drive).
A similarly long route leads from the southern parts of Ljubljana, where you take the Štajerska motorway (A1) to the Domžale exit and follow the signs towards Kamnik.
