Bela Resort – A New Tourism Story Surrounded by Nature Above Motnik

Nestled in the village of Bela near Motnik, on the edge of the Municipality of Kamnik, a new tourism project has come to life, combining peace, nature, and comfort. Behind it are Jani and Nina Pavec, well known as the founders of the popular wedding venue Skedenj – Estate of Love in Spodnji Brnik.

After more than a decade of creating unforgettable wedding experiences, they had long dreamed of building a place where people could slow down, escape the pace of everyday life, and reconnect with nature. This dream became Bela Resort – a boutique tourist resort set in the heart of unspoiled countryside.

"For years, we dreamed of creating a place where people could truly unwind. Modern life moves so fast that we often forget about ourselves and the beauty that surrounds us. We wanted to create a place where our guests could breathe deeply, listen to birdsong, gaze at the stars, and enjoy life's simple moments," say Jani and Nina Pavec.

Located in the heart of nature, just a few minutes from the Trojane motorway exit, Bela Resort offers a modern Camper Stop, comfortable glamping cabins, and beautifully designed outdoor relaxation areas. One of its greatest advantages is its peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of the city, while still being easily accessible from central Slovenia.

The resort is surrounded by forests, meadows, and numerous quiet corners for relaxation. Guests can also enjoy a children's playground, friendly farm animals, and a natural spring with fresh drinking water, all of which further enhance the connection with nature. Visitors can explore the surrounding forest trails, discover the Kamnik–Savinja Alps, or simply relax on the terrace and enjoy the peaceful silence.

In the coming months, the owners plan to further expand the resort's offer. A small wellness and spa area is currently under development, featuring a sauna, relaxation programmes, and additional facilities designed to provide the ultimate escape.

"We don't want to create mass tourism. We want to offer an experience—one that calms people, reconnects them with nature, and allows them to leave everyday worries behind, even if only for a few days," emphasise the Pavec family.

Bela Resort is a valuable addition to the tourism offer of the Kamnik destination, complementing the attractions between Kamnik, Menina Planina, Velika Planina, and Trojane. It offers visitors a different kind of stay—one based on sustainable tourism, respect for nature, and a high-quality leisure experience.

The project has been created through dedication, hard work, and a genuine love of nature. Jani and Nina believe that guests will recognise the authenticity of the place and will be happy to return to Bela time and time again.
